September News from Eiros Group

Life is a continuous journey, each season a unique part of the story.

September, September! What a fun and busy month! We begin to think of Pumpkins, and Spice, the kids return to school, meetings begin again, and we are in the midst of some really fantastic events and programs! In this month's newsletter, we have a number of great community activities, learning seminars, and helpful pieces of information to help you and your loved ones enjoy the best of those life journeys! Let's get into all of this month's news and activities!

A Great Time Was Had By All @ The Eiros Family Picnic!

Thank you to all that were able to attend the picnic! We are truly appreciative of the time that you took out of your schedules to spend with us. We appreciate the dishes that were made. We appreciate the distances that you traveled to get to the event. We appreciate the many stories shared. We appreciate the levity and laughter. We appreciate the connections that were made. We appreciate you! We

truly hope that you enjoyed the picnic as much as we did.

To everyone that was not able to make the picnic, we missed you. We look forward to creating more opportunities for our staff and those we serve to meet and celebrate one another. We hope to see you there!

Please join us for a series of workshops with Peter Leidy, that will help us to get back to the heart of our work. "Who is Peter Leidy?" Learn more here This is a paid training opportunity for Eiros Group Staff, but we are welcoming all of our families and service providers to join us as we do a deep dive into how we can support each other in the work we are called to do. Admission is FREE to Eiros Group Employees and Families. We are asking all other community Members to “Pay What You Can”, with a suggested donation of $20 per session. Workshop locations, times and descriptions are below. RESERVE YOUR SEAT AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE Peter Leidy conducts workshops, develops training materials, writes songs, speaks and sings at conferences, and works with organizations, government agencies, families, and paid supporters to promote positive support, inclusion, building healthy relationships, and thinking differently about people who are called “challenging.” (Peter himself is known to be non-compliant at times and can often be found exhibiting attention-seeking behavior.)
